They are recorded but they are NOT speaking, NOT featured in individual shots, and NOT interacting with product being shown (unless specifically stated)." - LinkedIn, September 20th 2019.
And I think that was my 1st on-camera appearance outside of a few student films at the University of Miami. It happened on one of my 1st gigs in the art department as a Set Dresser after I re-located to Los Angeles from Miami in late 2002.
For some reason the director briefly pulled me from my art department duties, handed me a wad of cash to use as gambling money for the part, and put me in a scene right next to Steve Martin during a party scene in the movie. It was pretty exciting at the time, and I have no idea why I did not do any more serious follow-up to be on camera after that.
I did hop into the background here and there as an extra and in some audience gigs, but for some reason never pursued acting seriously. The time wasn't right then, but now that I have a really free and unlocked spirit, I'm going to continue playing with this until I run out of life on Earth,
